Year-Round Calendar

We employ a year-round calendar to benefit the entire school community. These benefits include opportunities to:

• Give families back the gift of time in a society where children are overworked and overstressed.

• Increase learning retention and momentum for students instead of taking time to re-learn material after a long summer break.

• Refresh faculty and staff with “cup-filling” breaks after every session to avoid unnecessary burnout.

This year-round calendar consists of five academic sessions, each approximately eight weeks in length, separated by one-week breaks. Longer breaks are scheduled in the summer and over the Christmas holiday. This rhythm of work and rest helps to establish a healthy practice of time management and fosters a mentality of learning as a life-long endeavor.
