Student Activities
Student Activities
Student activities are aimed at enhancing our students’ education experience. These activities supplement in-classroom instruction and include, but are not limited to, the following offerings.
Speech Meet
Students will participate in a school Speech Meet in the spring with finalists advancing to a district event. Participation in this event helps students develop techniques to speak audibly, articulately, expressively, and with confidence and cultivates skills that will contribute to effective leadership in their futures.
Math Olympics
Our Math Olympics event stimulates an interest in mathematics through competitions and recognition of students’ achievements in the subject.
Science Fair
At our Science Fair, through scientific investigation and experimentation, students learn how to identify questions and present answers that reveal God’s power and divine nature found in creation. Donum Dei students will participate in an all school Science Fair in the spring.
International Space Station and
Oceans Classes (forthcoming)
Logic and Rhetoric students will have opportunities to explore the depths of the ocean floors to the heights of the skies and space through a hands-on program designed to engage them in scientific experimentation.
