CLASSICAL EDUCATION: FROM ANCIENT ROOTS TO MODERN MARKETS
Mr. Charles Evans, Better Schools, LLC

Do pre-modern educational content and values belong in the post-modern educational marketplace? Together, we will explore how classical education — with its roots stretching across ancient Israel, Persia, Greece, Rome, and Europe — is reinvigorating the educational landscape in these modern times and empowering parents to take a leading role in their children's formation.

This event is free of charge and includes dinner. Childcare is available for children ages 4 and up for $10 per child. Pre-registration for childcare is required on or before February 2.

BUILDING OUR SCHOOL WITH MISSION AND VALUE
Mr. Charles Evans, Better Schools, LLC

All great schools have one thing in common: a team of superlative educators, administrators, and staff who understand that they are the engines of their school's success. Building Our School takes faculty and staff outside the classroom and into the enterprise of school, then back into their day-to-day environment to understand more clearly how their contributions to students and families build greater value into your school. These six sessions will inspire your faculty and staff to envision the dynamic effect that their day-in and day-out efforts have on a thriving school enterprise.

Session 1: Mission and Money

How does mission integrity support the bottom line?

Session 2: School as an Enterprise

So, what do they do in the business office anyway?

Session 3: Identifying Value

What do parents and students want from us?

Session 4: Relationships and Culture

What is the faculty’s key contribution?

Session 5: A School that Students Will Love

What will they say about their years with us?

Session 6: Making the Right Investments

How do we grow from here?

Cost for this event is $50 per participant and includes lunch. Payment may be made on the day of the event.
