Our 5th-9th graders recently visited Oracle Park for their Baseball By the Numbers tour. Our students were treated to a behind-the scenes tour of the stadium, followed by an interactive lesson on how to calculate baseball statistics such as batting average, earned running average, and slugging percentage. It was a great tour, and a great opportunity to see math in action!
