A covenantal model of education where families and school labor together for the good of every child.

At Donum Dei Classical Academy, we believe that parents are the primary authority in the education and formation of their children. The school does not replace the family — it serves the family. Our teachers and staff see themselves as partners who come alongside parents to reinforce the values, habits, and vision that begin at home.
This covenantal partnership is woven into the very founding of our school. In 2018, a small group of families came together with a shared dream: to build a classical Christian school in San Francisco that would honor God, serve families, and form children in truth, goodness, and beauty.

My eyes have been opened to God's unchangeable love, and my spirits have been lifted by this loving community.

We have learned that the most effective partnerships are built on shared purpose, mutual trust, and open communication. Parents at Donum Dei are not spectators — they are essential participants in the life of the school.
The spirit of partnership shows up in tangible ways. Families have labored together to renovate classrooms, organize community outreach events, and build the infrastructure that makes our school possible.

We warmly welcome parents on campus — not just for special events, but as a regular part of school life. Whether reading to a class, joining us for morning chapel, volunteering in the library, or simply sharing a cup of coffee with other parents, there is always a place for families at Donum Dei.
