Mrs. Trisha Mammen partners with Donum Dei Classical Academy as our Principal. After working in television news for over a decade, she obtained a master's degree in professional writing at The University of Southern California, where she taught in their freshman writing program for a number of years.
She couldn't have realized it at the time, but that season was instrumental in nudging her toward classical education and, specifically, teaching and leading at Donum Dei.
Mrs. Mammen holds a particular passion for forming students through a love of words and language that inspires virtue and an affection for truth, goodness, and beauty. Don't get her started on her adoration of Madeleine L'Engle.
In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family and traveling. She and her husband serve at the local church where her husband pastors and they have two daughters who attend Donum Dei.
"It's a dream to combine a love of strong academics with such an unwavering foundation in faith. I believe in the mission of training up students who are prepared and equipped to engage culture from a position of strength and conviction."
