Mrs. Suzette Elchico

B.S. Environmental Studies, Maryknoll College; Paralegal Studies, Skyline College. Homeschool teacher 2004-2019; Classical Conversations Cohort Lead 2016-2019; at Donum Dei since 2019 (Logic Teacher, now 5th Grade).

I met Christine McLean, the founder of the school, in 2017 at a homeschool orientation night. Two years later she told me about the school she was building and invited me to look at its mission and vision. That year my daughter joined 5th grade, and I was recruited to teach history for grades 5-7. I'm excited to see where the Lord is leading this school, and it's a blessing to witness the work He has done here since 2019. I learned to walk with the Lord in 1996 at a Billy Graham crusade, after being saved in the early 1990s. Over the years I've seen that the learning journey starts with knowing Him more deeply and trusting Him in every step - this walk is what makes teaching so fun and fresh. I am just His vessel; He is the Teacher. I enjoy gardening, reading, and cooking.
