Mr. Daniel Wilson

A.A. in Graphic Communications and A.A. in Liberal Arts, Los Medanos College. B.A. in Adolescent Development, California State University, East Bay. M.Ed. in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Humanities, Grand Canyon University. Daniel has worked with youth for more than 15 years through camp counseling, childcare, and student life coaching. He began teaching in 2021 and has served as a middle school Humanities teacher, including three years at Donum Dei Classical Academy.

I grew up as a pastor's kid and was baptized at seven years old, spending much of my life serving in church ministries. While Jesus was always part of my life, He became truly real to me during a mission trip to Mexico, when I realized I had not yet fully surrendered my life to Him. Since then, God has led me through many different careers before calling me to teaching. I believe teaching is a gift God has given me, and I am grateful to use it to help students become virtuous scholars and Christlike servant-leaders. I especially value Donum Dei's commitment to knowing students and families and forming them through classical Christian education. Outside of school, I enjoy staying home, playing video games and Magic: The Gathering, reading, spending time with my family, and hiking San Francisco's many parks.

"If we are to fail, let us at least fail while daring greatly, so as not to be like one of those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat." - Theodore Roosevelt
